Fuente Dé, Spain. August 2014.
We explored an amazing place earlier today.
This was the hike I have always dreamed of

Elciego, Spain.
Lauren has been traveling the north cost of Spain with James and Ellie for the past week.
Yesterday Sophia and I met up with them in the Basque Country.
This is my first visit to Spain. I’m so happy to be here with my family. The people are as warm as the sunshine. The country is simply beautiful.

The thing about getting a roll of film developed is it often comes back with a bunch of random scenes — a trip to NYC, a walk around Boston’s south end and James reading his comics just before bedtime.
None of these photographs were taken with ideal light. Either the harsh light of late morning or interior dim lighting. Somehow film and this lab makes it work. I don’t think they would have worked with digital.

My wife likes to match her clothes with art

We went to Nantucket for Father’s Day weekend. The island isn’t terribly far from Boston but when you get off the ferry you feel like you are in another world.
We missed sunset tonight but the colors this evening were wonderful

We made an impromptu trip to NYC this weekend. We walked, ate, walked, shopped, ate and walked some more.
I love this city.
