My Drug Buddy, Ben Kweller
I caught up with my friend Ben this week. I love when he calls. He starts singing into my voicemail and it makes me smile every time.

That’s what our best artists do, testify. Tell us the truth. With their words, their music, their personality. Not only doves are crying tonight.
Coming Home, Leon Bridges
At home, with James | March 2016
Our daughters are older a bit older and closer in our age to each other than our son. James just turn 10 last month. And because he’s younger than the girls, I often think of him as being this little toddler running around the house.
But he’s not a toddler of course. He’s growing into his own person. Comfortable in his skin. Full of his own hopes and dreams, ideas and opinions of what is right and wrong. He’s a day dreamer and an old soul wrapped into one.
