Mount Monadnock, New Hampshire | September, 2016

The last time we visited this place was many years ago when James was just 3 or 4 years old. I remember him hiking in front of all of us in the pouring rain trying to climb up each rock along the way with his little legs. We made it about an 45 minutes into the hike before we had to turn around if I recall correctly.

So before the summer completely slipped away, Lauren suggested we try it again. To reach the top at our pace, it’s about a 2.5 hour hike up to the top and 1.5 hours to get down. About halfway up along the trail you start seeing this amazing view of Vermont. We were a bit ill prepared with too little food and water but the hike and day was beautiful.

I hope she wins

On Saturday, Lauren and I had a chance to briefly meet with Hillary Clinton before she gave a talk to a group of voters. It was a mix of Democrats, Independents and Republicans at the event which was so nice to see.

We have a great deal of challenges in this country but I am confident that electing Hillary Clinton as our President is the right thing to do. The alternative is truly a nightmare.
