About a year ago or so, I was fortunate to get my first Leica, a Leica M9-P. Since then I’ve added some Leica glass to my arsenal and also picked up a Leica M6 film camera. 

I love making photos with camera. It feels so good. It’s not a computer I hold up to my eye, it’s a camera. I can hear the shutter. I control the aperture, focus ring and the shutter speed. It’s analog with a little digital, not the other way around. 

I also love the feel of it in my hands. I just came across this short video about how Leica produces these treasures. I get the sense they have as much pride making it as I have in using it.
