I am back in San Francisco this week.
I have a series of work meetings and i am also meeting up with some old and new friends.
I come out here quite often. Probably once a month and sometimes even more than that. And I lived here for nearly 10 years before moving back east in 2001.
It’s a special place to me. It’s a place filled with diversity, ideas, tolerance and optimism. It’s beautiful and the weather this week is truly stunning. And it’s the place that first infected me with a love of startups.
It’s also the place where I started dating this girl that ended up marrying me. And we had our first child here. And our first dog.
So many emotions fill my heart whenever I walk these streets and visit each little neighborhood.
I love this city.
