Are democrats anti-business?

I don’t think so and shared my thoughts on Fred’s blog post today in the comments.

I loved Fred’s line in his post:

Last week I was at a meeting of some NYC tech entrepreneurs and investors with a Republican Senator. After I made a few comments, the Senator turned to me and said “you sound like a Republican” to which I replied “I could never be that.” The Senator continued to press me and said “but you are a business person” and I replied “but I am also a human being.”

Exactly.

I’d wanted to write a story for my daughters that told them something I wished I’d know when I was a boy: that being brave didn’t mean you weren’t scared. Being brave meant you were scared, really scared, badly scared, and you did the right thing anyway.

Apple Watch

I ordered the 42mm black, stainless steel and a black sports band. Lauren is getting the 38mm sport with a green sport band.

I’m not sure v1 is going to work for me. The reviews seem quite mixed. And I adore my analog watch.

But wearable computers are inevitable and so I’m going to give it an honest try.

(Special shout out and thanks to @nabeel who actually ordered the watch for me at midnight pst. I couldn’t last until 3am est. I’m getting old).
