I don’t know if this is going to turn into a daily habit but I enjoyed sharing three links yesterday. So I am going to do it again today.

I stumbled across Ev’s post on how comments work on Medium. As always the case with Ev, it’s insightful and very thoughtful. It reminded me of the many conversations I had with David Karp over the years about his decision not to add native comments to Tumblr. A few weeks back I turned off Disqus comments on my blog. I am happy with the experiment so far. I love feedback but I just don’t want it in the comments. I would much rather interact on Twitter (@bijan) or via email. I do have Tumblr replies turned on which only works if you have been a long time follower of my blog.
The Big AlphaBet by Om Malik. Om has a great take on Google’s big announcement. I am happy Om is writing again with regularity. Besides being a friend of mine, he has this gift and I love it when he writes.
Song Exploder. I am increasingly listening to more podcasts these days. My latest addition is a podcast called Song Exploder. Each episode is an interview with an artist about a particular song. It’s fascinating. I am not doing it justice with this description. If you love music, you will love this podcast. Thanks Avner for the recommendation.
