Do you have any advice for someone just starting to work with film I have a semi old Nikon 6006 and a Nikon 28-80 or 85 lense with a macro setting also I have an aspherical lense almost identical oh also I shoot mostly black and white because I can develop it and make prints at my high school. Any advice you can give me would be great thanks so much

I am not an expert with film by any means. But I’m loving the whole experience from buying the film, loading it, finding light, setting the proper exposure, making photographs and then waiting to see the prints from the lab. The whole thing is wonderful and so different from digital.

Awhile back my friend Josh recommended the book Film Is Not Dead. It’s great.
