Last night I saw Joshua Radin play at Irving Plaza. If you don’t know him and enjoy the I’m-a-romantic-brooding-singer-songwriter-type, then you should check him out. He came out into the audience for his final song. The crowd formed around him in a tight circle and Monika and I just happened to be at the right place at the right time, scoring the ideal spot. He sang Bob Dylan’s “Don’t Think Twice, It’s Alright.” I’ve been to a lot of concerts, and this is definitely one of my favorite experiences. Don’t mind the random light streaks, you get the idea.

I’ve got a bunch of Joshua Radin’s tunes on this blog over the past few months. This guy is simply great.

I really like this video too. Its fantastic when bands/artists play this close to the audience. Nothing to hide and it’s up close & personal. Other up close and personal videos here (BK), here (Weezer) and here (the Long Winters).
