Vermont, March 2016

We drove to Vermont last weekend.

There is something about Vermont. Breakfast taste better. Hiking feel soulful. The rivers and mountains are stunning. The adorable covered bridges. The air just feels different.

The little inn we stayed at didn’t have an electric car charger but a B&B down the road had electric car chargers (4 of them). The owners of the B&B told me that Tesla paid for the gear and installation and they use it quite often for Tesla & Prius (mostly). Even better, this B&B is completely powered by solar so they smiled and proudly declared that our car was given a charge from sunshine.

Did I mention I love Vermont.

Los Angeles, California

After leaving the desert, I drove to Los Angeles, California and had the pleasure of meeting up with Pete Halvorsen in Venice. He’s such a great guy and super talented photographer.

The next day I picked up Lauren and the kids at the airport and we spent an extended weekend on the west side of LA. These are a few photographs from Venice, Santa Monica and Manhattan Beach.

Snow day, February 2015.

I woke up this morning and looked out the window. Beautiful white snow covered the trees and big flakes falling from the sky. I checked Twitter and told the kids they had a snow day today.

I worked this morning and then re-arranged a few things and took the rest of the day off to enjoy this snow day with Lauren and the kids.

Sometimes the universe gives you a nice, unexpected present.

Anguilla, Part I

December 2015

We visited the island of Anguilla last week. It was our first visit and we had a wonderful time. The country is beautiful and the weather was as warm and lovely as the people.
