Walk On Me - Ben Kweller

Lauren and I went to see Ben Kweller last night at the Somerville Theater. We’ve seen Ben play live 3 times now and this was the best show yet.

Ben opened with “Walk On Me”. After playing the opening he stopped, told the AV guy that he needed the guitar to be much louder and he started again. I knew we were going to have a great night after that.

Other highlights from the show: a killer version of “Wantin Her Again”, “Sawdust Man”, a new version of “Sundress”, “Thirteen” and joining the entire place singing “Falling” w/o music and closing with “Penny On The Train Track”.

It was so much fun hanging out with Ben after the show too. A great night.

Me too. Although there’s no way Town Hall can recreate the energy of Bowery Ballroom.
