The need for better charts
My friends Stu and Jason have been working on a better web charting application over at Visible Certainty (extra bonus points if you can tell me where that names comes from).
Their desire for better charting software comes from their belief that most charts/graphs hide the facts instead of presenting the facts. Sources are left out, readers can’t typically view source data or put multiple data sets together easily.
I love their latest post about healthcare coverage in the United States and how some charts don’t provide the entire picture.
