Just installed an advanced copy of the iPhone 2.0 software.
When you click on the camera app this is the first thing you see. It’s a dialog box that says:

“Camera” would like to use your current location.

And then you have the choice to select ‘don’t allow” or “ok”
iPhone 3G is Day 1 of location based services. Here we go!
