OpenCoffee Cambridge is open for all
I’ve been a big fan of OpenCoffee Cambridge. It’s a great way to meet new people, get feedback on projects and exchange ideas. Here’s my twitter update on some of the things we discussed from the OpenCoffee a few weeks back.
I try to attend at least once a month. The last month has been tough for me with my travel schedule and next week isn’t any different unfortunately but then after that I will be attending about 1-2/month.
One thing I wanted to point out is that OpenCoffee is just that. It’s open for all. No RSVP required. Non invite required. It doesn’t matter if you are an entrepreneur or a VC. This is not an event organized by my firm Spark Capital. In just the last 3 weeks, two different boston VCs told me that they don’t attend because they thought I would feel like they were jumping into “my event”. That couldn’t be farther from the truth.
Nabeel and I kicked started this but now the event belongs to everyone and none of us. It just lives with those that partcipate.
So spread the word and bring a friend to the next OpenCoffee Cambridge.
