My top 5 favorite company workspaces

Okay, I know this is a silly post.

I don’t believe there is any correlation between a cool looking, beautiful office and success but I thought it would be fun to give a shout out to my top 5 favorite company workspaces (disclaimer: I’m not including our office at spark)

1. O’Reilly AlphaTech Ventures. I stopped by to see Bryce last week in SF and went to see his office at One Lombard Street. It’s awesome. The views, high ceilings, funky art. Everything is awesome. The only critique - Bryce is the only Mac user at his firm but I won’t hold that against him. I’m on the only guy at my firm with a Mac (actually Todd and Dennis have them at home so that’s partial credit)

2. Three Rings. Daniel James has a funky, artistic office. The best part is that their creative employees create their own desks and they are truly a work of art.

3. Tumblr. David & Marco rent their offices from Frederator Studios and I love that space. It’s wide open. It’s a beehive of activity and you can feel the energy in that place. And its an easy walk to the Shake Shack.

4. Bloomberg. I recently got a tour of the Bloomberg HQ from their ceo and I was blown away.

5. Apple. I know that some would probably puke on this choice. But there is something special about the apple campus to me. I guess that will never change.

Update: I already received 2 emails from entpreneurs that are part of the Spark portfolio. I’m sorry guys that I didn’t mention your offices. They are cool too ;)
