A fourth reason to use Disqus

Last week Fred wrote about three reasons why every serious blogger should use Disqus.

I absolutely agree with those but here’s another reason I’ll add to the list.

Daniel Ha, the cofounder of Disqus, is one of the most (if not the most) responsive & active entrepreneurs I know to his community of users.

Since I started using Disqus last fall, Daniel has always gotten back to me right away - whether it’s a dopey question, a feature request, or a bug that I find with the service.

The cynics out there will suggest that this is happening because I’m a vc. Not true, he’s got great investors and has all the funding he needs. This blog isn’t huge by any standards so that’s not it either. And trust me, I’m not alone with this experience.

So I continue to happily keep Disqus on this site. Yes, I love the features but also because I know the team behind it are really tuned in.

And thats one of the secret ingredients of that company.
