I’ve never openly criticized another VC but there is a first for everything
I have been a vocal Al Gore supporter for a long time. I voted for him when he ran for President (and won). I’ve admired his work for the environment. And I wanted him to run for office this time around. I’m sure he would have beaten McCain handily at the polls with or without hanging chads.
He’s also had a very successful career post-politics in the business world. He’s also a partner at the highly successful partnership of KPCB.
As a result this is the first time I’ve openly criticized another VC on this blog.
And now I’ve got to ask - when is Al Gore going to step up and endorse one of these candidates. What is he waiting for ? This is the time for Al Gore to use his platform and respect in the party to take a leadership position.
I just don’t get the silence.
