Happy with Comcast… right now
I’ve written about my frustrations with Comcast before on this tumblelog on and my old blog. I know a bunch of folks at that company and they are all pretty smart. I think my frustrations have really been about speed (or perceived lack of speed) when rolling out new stuff more than anything else.
And when I read NewTeeVee’s post today, Dear Comcast Why Is My DVR So Dumb?, I started to get flashbacks.
But right now, I’m pretty happy with Comcast.
I’m loving our new Comcast TiVo HD and I’m getting 6Mbps downstream and 768Kbps upstream on our cable modem.
Will I switch to Fios when Verizon comes into our neighborhood?
Probably for data but there is no way I can go back to a non-tivo dvr.
