For example, you can now use Tumblr to host a blog for your band, giving everyone in the band the ability to post. And Tumblr can host it at yourband.com. This is a major step in Tumblr’s evolution as a publishing platform. I was about to do a post about Tumblr’s new update today but Jakob (fellow Tumblr investor) beat me to it. Another thing I love about todays update is that you can now upload a 10meg mp3 (used to be 5megs).

Tumblr made some changes today.
