Twitter has once again dominated the Techmeme scene.
As Jack, Biz, Ev and Lee knows, I’m a Twitter addict. And as you can see from this graph my Twitter usage is going up and up (stats graph generated here).
Allen Stern is wondering if Twitter has blown their biz model. I don’t think so at all. Without a big, growing user base there wouldn’t be any business model to create or foster.
I agree with Jason and can see many different business models developing at Twitter. I would be totally cool with nicely placed ads. I’m sure there will also be new ones too as the service continues to attract new users, new developers and new apps.
If I was an investor in Twitter I would support them to continue to grow, innovate, and make/keep the service rock solid.
I’m confident that revenue opportunities will come. Right now the value is in the service and delighting the users.
