We (still) love the Wii

We bought our Nintendo Wii back in May this year.

We had Playstation, Xbox and the kids also play various online games (mostly Webkinz and Club Penguin these days). But the Wii is different than all of those games in one very important way.

We play together as a family.

This photo was taken a few weeks ago right before the kids went off to bed. That’s why Ellie and Sophia are in the pj’s. Sophia is fantastic at bowling. Ellie has a mean curve ball in baseball and a nice jab in boxing. Lauren has a great forehand in tennis as you can see. And even little James gets into it. He jumps around with the characters on TV.

Our Wii is online but we don’t use those features that much. I wish it had online multiplayer support for Wii Sports so I could play Nabeel or Howard or my other friends too.

It’s hard to describe how much fun & easy it is to play Wii games. Just grab a Wii remote and go. I’m not surprised to see that the Wii is as hot as ever and folks are still lining up to get one.

Which Wii games do you like the best? Love to hear if we should ask Santa for some additional titles.
