YouTube in HD
There was a lot of buzz about YouTube announcing future support for HD video.
My guess is that they aren’t offering true HD but something better than the low res video they offer today. That makes sense. Video creators of all kinds want their video to look as good as possible.
And consumers should have the choice to watch the video in any format they want.
That was/is the promise at Veoh (a Spark portfolio company). Veoh streams video at a very high quality today. But if you use their client software you can view the content in full screen at the original resolution of the video.
I like that Veoh gives you a choice and gives the content creator flexible options.
